Opinel Knife N°08 Brown Laminated Birch

Designed with the environment in mind, the handle of this knife is made of Finnish wood and the paints used are non-toxic.

This knife is supplied in a blue gift box and includes specific instructions.
This knife can be personalized.
We use modified Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chromium and does not require special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives an excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness 57-58 HRC.
Finnish birch is a white wood. We use blocks of colored and reassembled strips to shape our handles and give them a great look.
Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all N° 06 folding knives. Cut from stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).
